Idea #1: Hold Shirt Collars Down
Does your favorite shirt collar always look like it’s about to fly away? Maybe it needs to be ironed, but you’re running late. No worries! Just throw on a jacket or vest and grab your Dapper Dots. Apply a dot under each collar point and gently press it against the collar band of your shirt. It’s a super fast way to look like you woke up prepared to tackle the day.
Idea #2: Hold Pocket Squares Up
With any simple outfit, accessories are so important! With a suit, pocket squares can be so much fun and add a whole new level of personality. Sometimes the material that they’re made with is too soft and isn’t ideal for staying perfectly positioned.
For an easy fix, fold your pocket square and tuck it into your jacket’s breast pocket. Add a Dapper Dot to the back of your pocket square and press it firmly against your suit jacket. Now it’s prepped to stay in place all day.
Idea #3: Don’t be a Fabio (Create Hidden Buttons)
Sometimes, you’d like to wear a slightly unbuttoned top without looking like you belong on the cover of a romance novel. Usually, buttons are placed just slightly too far apart with one button that’s too high, and one that’s dangerously low. An easy fix for this is to apply a Dapper Dot right between two buttons, and stick the sides of your shirt together. This gives you a lived-in and easy vibe, without revealing your whole chest.
