Easy Hem Fix

Have you ever found yourself in this situation? Whether it’s the lining of your skirt or a slip that you’ve put on underneath, you don’t want it showing. Luckily there’s an easy fix that will keep you from checking one thousand times throughout the day to make sure it’s not showing.

Place a couple of strips of Fearless Tape on the slip.

Then simply remove the lining and fold the slip over on itself, ensuring that you’re making it short enough to not be seen underneath your skirt.

Problem solved!

Summer Dresses and Sand Dunes Part 3

If you missed the first two parts of this shoot make sure you scroll down on our blog to see the behind the scenes on the first two outfits. This outfit was almost perfect, but with the wind and the running around, the sleeves would never have stayed in place. If you’ve worn an off the shoulder style before you can understand how annoying it is to constantly be pulling your sleeves into the right position. All we needed was a couple strips of Fearless Tape to keep things in place.

How awesome is it to be able to be in that much wind and actually keep your flowy outfit in place?!

Summer Dresses and Sand Dunes Part Two

Did you see part one of this post yesterday? If not, make sure you check it out to see how we perfected the green and white outfit on the right hand side of that first photo. Today we’re looking at outfit number two! This top is so pretty but it was hanging a little low. With the wind on this photo shoot it would have taken constant adjustments to keep her bra out of the photos. Fearless Tape is exactly what we needed to hold things together so all she had to worry about was dancing in the sun and looking gorgeous, both of which were obviously very easy for her!

First we placed Fearless Tape on her chest where we wanted her neckline to sit.

Then, all we had to do was put her shirt in place and it stayed the whole time, even with all of the wind.

Once things got going we realized that her necklace was going to be an issue with all of the wind.

We added a Fearless Tape dot to the back so she wouldn’t have to worry about her necklace blowing around. It stayed right in place and was perfect in all of the photos.

Summer Dresses and Sand Dunes Part One

First can we just acknowledge how pretty that photo is? We’ll be bringing you the behind the scenes on this gorgeous photo shoot over the next couple of days because it’s just so gorgeous. Those outfits are completely perfect for summer. They’re light, flowy, and feminine. These photos were taken out at some sand dunes which made for a gorgeous location. The wind was perfect with these flowy outfits, but it took some preparation to make sure it didn’t lead to a little too much exposure if you know what we mean… Fearless Tape was the perfect solution. It kept everything in place with the wind, but didn’t inhibit any of the flowiness from the outfits.

First, this pretty, flowy white shirt is so gorgeous. But you can see how that low of a neck could quickly get you in trouble without a little bit of help from Fearless Tape.

We placed the tape on the neckline and attached it to where she wanted it to sit on her chest.

Did the same thing on the other side.

It turned out perfect. You would have no idea there was anything keeping this shirt in place. It looks just as flowy and perfect, but without showing quite as much as it would without Fearless Tape in place.

The Time Fearless Tape Saved Sunday

Look familiar? Our photographer was getting her kids ready for church when she discovered a rip in the button hole of her son’s shirt. Thank goodness Fearless Tape was there to save the day yet again!

She placed the Fearless Tape on the back side of the tear on each side.

That's A Wrap

Doesn’t that photo perfectly describe what it feels like to wear a wrap dress? Wrap dresses are so fun and can be so flattering. The downside to many of them is that they have a slit that can go higher than you’re comfortable with. Fearless Tape gives you the ability to keep the slit closed without having to spend time sewing or add visible stitches. The other benefit is that it’s not permanent. So if you make the slit too high or too low, it’s easy to fix. It’s also nice if you have a different amount of leg you feel comfortable showing in different situations. Maybe for an event with your kids around you can make it mid shin just in case (we’ve all had an embarrassing clothing moment brought on by kids, right?). For date night when there’s less potential of a child pulling your skirt open, you can make the slit knee high or above. Whatever suits your fancy!

Simply choose how much leg you’d like to show and use fashion tape to close the gap anywhere you’d like to cover.

Tame that Belt Tail

SPRING DRESSES are HERE! Can you tell we’re excited?! Is there anything that makes you feel more girly than a light, fun, Spring dress? We’re so excited that it’s finally getting warm enough (some days) to wear them. The not so fun part about Spring dresses? When you find the perfect waist belt that is so cute with your new dress and you have a belt tail that won’t stay put.

I’m sure you’ve tried several tactics to tame that belt tail. Tying it around the rest of the belt. Tucking it into the belt. Safety pins. Maybe even some general household tape. Even when something kind of works, it’s hard to not be a little worried about it throughout the day.

        At Fearless Tape we’re all about ‘set it and forget it’. We know what it feels like to be messing with an outfit all day because something is a little off. Maybe a hem is a little long or your buttons are gapping or that cute belt has a long tail that won’t stop flailing. Clothing Hack: Keep Clothing Details in Place

Sometimes the details that are supposed to make our clothing more interesting end up being a little underwhelming on their own. We love these shirts with the bow in the front, but do you ever wear one and wish that it was a little less droopy? Seriously though, look at that before and after picture! You can’t tell us the bow on the right doesn’t look better than the one on the left.

The good news is, it’s easy to do.

After tying the bow, simply put fashion tape on the back side of the loops.

Then position them where you’d like on your blouse.

And your bow will stay cute all day, no matter what you’re doing.

Costume Hacks with Fearless Tape

Fearless Tape is such a lifesaver every day, but especially when it comes to Halloween. Pretty much every Halloween costume can be much more comfortable with a little Fearless Tape.

The Scera Center for the Arts was nice enough to lend us some of their costumes to see how we could make them more comfortable with Fearless Tape.

First, we found this classic pair of red pumps with one sole falling out and a few tears in the lining.

Fashion Hack: Keep Your Bra Straps In Place

Can you believe we’re getting so close to the holiday season?! It’s finally that time when we get to hang out with our awkward relatives, eat yummy food and wear fun costumes or fancy clothes. The last thing you want to be worrying about is your bra straps not staying in place. If you’ve ever been the weird one in the group shot trying to shove your straps up your sleeves, this trick will have you singing praises in no time.

The way you go about it will depend on your outfit, but no matter which method you choose, it’ll be easy and stress free.

 

Keep Bra Straps up IF YOU’RE GOING SLEEVELESS

Once you’re wearing your dress or shirt, place a strip or dot of Fearless Fashion Tape on the top of your bra strap. Next, stick the tape to the underside of the strap on your dress or shirt. This will keep your bra strap connected to the strap on your dress or shirt all night, ensuring that your bra straps will not fall down or slip out.

Keep Bra Straps up IF YOU’RE WEARING SLEEVES

Once you’ve put on your bra, place a strip or dot of Fearless Fashion Tape on the underside of your bra strap near the top of your shoulder and stick it in place. This will keep your bra straps up all night with no fear of them slipping down.

Use Fearless Tape for Full Bra Coverage in a Tank Top

Sometimes the lines on your tank top and the bra you want to wear don’t match up. Does this look familiar to you?

Back in the day we may have just tried to cover up with a cardigan, find a bra that worked, or just chose another shirt to wear. Luckily, there’s now Fearless Tape to let us wear any tank top with our favorite bra.

All you have to do is add one piece of tape to the top of your shoulder strap...

And another piece to the side of the cup.

Fashion Hack: Keeping Up Your No-Show Socks

As amazing as no-show socks can be, you’re bound to have a day when they just won’t stay up. No matter if they have a silicone piece on the heel to keep them up, or an extra tight band, sometimes it’s just not enough. This is especially true with certain types of shoes. Booties seem to be especially terrible at keeping no-show socks in place. This is extra frustrating when your ankle socks peek out of the top of your booties without fail. This Fall, we realized that Fearless Fashion Tape is the answer! Here’s all you have to do to keep those socks in place all day.

1. For this hack, you’ll either need two tape dots or one tape strip that’s torn or cut in half.
2. Put on your no-show socks to see how high they sit on your ankle.
3. Fold down your sock and place the tape on your ankle, just under where the sock will sit.

1. Put your sock back on and rub the sock to stick it to the tape.
2. Enjoy a worry free day without your socks bunched under the arch of your foot!

Depending on the booties you’re wearing, your ‘no-show’ socks might still peak out. You can also use Fearless tape to keep your socks hidden. Just use the tape to stick your sock straight to the bootie.
